Catherine Vance Perusse heads the firm’s estate planning and administration practice group. Ms. Perusse applies a comprehensive approach to estate planning, addressing all aspects of her clients’ estate planning needs, from preparing their wills to working with their financial advisors to integrate their life insurance and retirement accounts with their estate plans. Her goal is to always balance the desires of her clients with the requirements of applicable tax laws and her clients’ concerns and needs. Ms. Perusse also has many years of experience with assisting trustees and executors in the administration of trusts and estates.

Ms. Perusse is a graduate of Harvard College (A.B. cum laude in East Asian Studies 1980) and Fordham University School of Law (J.D. 1988), where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Fordham Law Review. Ms. Perusse also clerked for the Honorable John J. Gibbons, Chief Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut and before various federal courts, including the U.S. Tax Court. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
