Anthony Cannatella has experience in many aspects of litigation with a specific concentration in intellectual property matters (trademark, copyright prosecution and enforcement, licensing and distribution agreement disputes, trade secret and unfair competition claims).
Mr. Cannatella develops and manages enforcement programs at the national and international levels for a number of world famous trademark and copyright owners in the high-fashion clothing and accessories business. He has successfully brought civil actions against counterfeiters and infringers of trademarks and copyrights. He has executed many civil seizure orders in the New York area and has acquired judgments awarding damages and injunctive relief.
Mr. Cannatella routinely counsels clients regarding methods of distribution and sourcing to help them protect their intellectual property rights as well as to meet their contractual obligations. He works with a worldwide network of local counsel and investigators.
Mr. Cannatella is a graduate of Georgetown University (A.B. 1985), Brooklyn Law School (J.D. 1988), and New York University School of Law (LL.M. International Legal Studies 1989).
